We had a hard time keeping both poles in the water!
We had planned on fishing 3 poles. 2 off of one rigger. But gave up on that plan because of the fast action.
We pulled 3 limits in less than 3 hours.
My sister was trilled. She had come over from Spokane for her 1st ever saltwater fishing trip.
And I was trilled as last year was my 1st year ever fishing for salmon. And really have no idea as to what I'm doing. But I guess for pinks you don't have to know much.

I did have a question. I was using the hummy specail. Should I put anythng on the hook? Scent, bait? We did not use anything but we had herring. Never used any. Untill we tried for some silvers.

That afternoon we went to lake WA for some great perch fishing.

Let me get this right - you limited three people in three hours and you want to know if you should have put something on the hooks? Obviously you were doing everything totally wrong. You should have been limited in two hours. laugh

Just kidding! Nice job! No, you don't need anything on the hooks, unless it makes you more confident. But after a morning like that I'm sure your confidence is just fine. We're heading out Wednesday am. Hope our luck is have as good as yours. smile

THe pinks are in no doubt, got some out at posession along with a couple nice coho, and a 15 and 20 pound king which was fun but man it hurts to put those back. They're in the snoho too.

They've been in Elliot Bay the past couple of weeks and had been at the head earlier. Can't figure out if they're trying to go up the green or feeding since we were catching oat the mouth??
