Anyone here hunting the late archery elk season?

Leaving for the hunting grounds Tuesday night and can't wait to chase elk around in the snow! I'll be over in the Nile.

Heading for that side myself. Always fun. Just have to hope the snow shows up.

staying local..... I have three herds i have been watching the last few days. couple nice Bulls 150 cows or so. should be a done deal i THink.

i should be over there if i can find some arrows for my moms recurve. i sold my compound after the early season sence i wasnt planning on hunting the late season due to not having a truck. but now i do and now i have no bow lol DAMN

I'll be out this weekend and as much as possible throughout the remaining season, mostly in the Winston unit but might check out Ryderwood, probably have both of these units to myself
A buddy and I had planned on taking mountain bikes in but a POS bike thief last week changed my plans.

Been years since I've hunted Winston and never hunted Ryderwood so if anyone has any tips, I'm all ears.

Well since they have the Pe Ell side of ryderwood shut down there will be more pressure on the other side which is were my group hunts. Off of Wildwood Rd turn left or right( depending on which direction you sre coming from )onto the 600 line. From there you are on your own.

Thanks FM, you ever spend any time in the Germany Creek area? I've been driving alot of roads in the southern half of Ryderwood and other then Germany Creek about all I'm finding is locked gates. I went in about 8 miles up GC during rifle season and saw alot of hunters but no animals and not much sign.
