Spent the weekend on by buddy's ranch in north eastern California's Modoc County.
We put the smackdown on three yotes on saturday & one on sunday.

Lost another kitty to a coyote in the past few days. Two in about 2 months. Time to set up a coyote trap this week.

Trap = me in a blind, rifle at the ready, e-caller whining away about 25 yards to the right.

Tired of losing pets.

Time for a better trap?

We haven't actively hunted them here, but that will certainly change. I do have designs for an excellent live trap, coyote size. If course, few would leave that trap alive. Can't use a lethal trap, as there are pets all around.
