Old Duffer Fry Registered: 12/20/10 Posts: 28 Loc: Sitka Alaska	Back in the 1970's there used to be a archery season for Goats on the Eastern slopes of the Olympic Mountains just outside the Park Boundary. Mostly on Mt. Henderson, Mt. Stone, and Mt.Pershing. I suppose that hunt no longer exists.

They are the single most destructive invasive species in the state! Of course they only eat fauna that is only found on the OP. They should have an open archery season year round on them until they are gone! I thought that after the person was killed by a goat.....that the goats of the Olympic National Park.....were going to be killed!!!! Was I mistaken in this thinking????? I remember seeing the Mt. goats while I was fishing Lake Diablo, back a few years.......1961.....I would hate to see one of natures amazing animals killed off.
