So I was lucky enough to stumble upon a group of 5 bt bucks togethor today. All of them were shooters and 2 were stud 4 pts. Spotted em about 100 yds in front of me. Had to take a seat for an hour with the wind in my face as they fed towards me to about 50 yds before passing me by and giving me an opportunity to back out. Spent an hour glassing them. Pretty exciting. So how long do u guys think these bucks will hang togethor? How far do you think they might travel by early archery. Never killed a bt or hunted too much for em. Got a multiseason tag and already feeling an obsession to get one of those boys.

If they are un pressured, they will stay in the general area... They'll hang together through September...

The big one is burned in my brain. He is all I can think about. He needs to relocate to my wall.

I have seen poles at tittie bars with less action.

Seems every year we see the bachelor groups through late August into the first few days of September.. Right about the time the velvet starts tickling and they rub they disappear.

One of the hardest things in hunting is killing a large blacktail on the ground with a bow.. I've yet to accomplish it. Will be out after a couple bigguns September 1st, see what happens....

I've really considered the tree stand, personally I think that's the ticket for them big boys...
