On November 20, 1960 it was "doe day".We hunted up Lincoln Creek and it snowed a lot. We got two as I recall. At 3 o'clock that afternoon I married my first wife. NOTHING interfered with doe day back then.

I asked my present wife "can you believe that I did that?" She said
"absolutely, I can believe that." I haven't hunted in years. I quit when I became afraid that I might get something. Now I just fish. A lot.

amen to that, brother...

I put the wife's cat in the ground last week. I'm glad I didn't have to use the burlap bag and a rock I had picked out... I would'a missed that rock.

needless to say, a few tears were shed - and not all out of joy...

Doe day for us was when everyone's doe tags went live. Our best day was 8 deer, 3 bucks and 5 does, also in the Lincoln unit.

Sorry about your dog Stam, and Piper's cat.
