I just got back from Montana last week, it was unseasonably warm this year on our Lease and there was about 1/4 the amount of snow in the big horns so hunting the migratory deer was out. The local heard Would have to do ...I had limited time due to guiding an Elk hunt and helping a friend with a moose hunt early that ate up my time. Between me and my buddies we were still able to put down some respectable bucks!!!

Canon 20d and 40d Bodies and the harvest photos the first two were taken with a EF 18-55mm f3.5 -5.6 and the other with a EF 17-40mm f 4. Scenery shots were taken with the 18-55 a EF 28-105mm f 3.5-4.5. I also had a L 100-400mm f4-5.6 and a L 300mm f3 for live on the hoof shots like this one. Unfortunatly we found this guy the day after we were all tagged out Oh well at least we had cameras!!!
