Let's see them. I inherited this from my uncle: Sadly, he basically destroyed the original WWI combat-verified 1911 for this conversion. He added a new rear sight to to the upper and looks like he did some checkering to the receiver grip. This 1911 saw combat in WW1 and has been passed down through our family.

Lovely! I'll get a picture of the 1897 I inherited from my wife's uncle when I get home. Yup, chopped the barrel to 18.25", and I think he cut off some of the stock too. There is a slip on butt pad, but I'm almost afraid to look. One of the few firearms in my vault I haven't shot.
No contender frames?

I have an early Model 12 (bought in the teens) that has a Weaver choke attached.
Just bought an 1894 30-30 rifle that was for sale at less than 50% "value" as it had been reblued. But, since I bought it as a shooter, who cares?

Paker - that "thing" is awesome. How's it shoot? I'd imagine solid groups at 100 yards wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility?

Danner Radical 452 Golden Retriever .300 AAC Blackout Close. Danner 453's Sage. Cedar is a yellow lab. He would be offended but he would still sniff your crotch. Yup, a spare .300 BO upper.
