Man I wish WA had some late season goose hunting.
Just came back from hunting in Oregon, well i have gone the last 3 weekends, and man is it fun to extend the season. And i love those little cacklers. They are such a cool bird. I shot a really nice white ringed bird a couple weeks ago and i think i am going to get him mounted. Although i want to get another white ring to mount with him. and maybe a band or two
Had some great hunts over the 3rd period and although we dont try to shoot a ton of birds, we had plenty in the decoys. At one point we had 3000+ geese all around us while we were hidden in a clover field. Quite the racket and what an experience!

If anyone wants to trade some hunts i would love to hunt the SW permit zone in WA next season or anywhere there are some cacklers in the state. I know there are a few on the Chehalis and down in the Nisqually but i havent taken the time to figure those hunts out yet.
