Hey kid if you have someone to bring you down to the North Fork of the Lewis I've got a 18' Koffler jet sled and me and my buddies would be more than happy to teach you all about fishing, that was how I learned. I started fishing the East fork of the lewis when I was 10 years old all the locals use to take me under there wings, give me tips and eggs to catch fish now I'm recognized by all that fish near me.

I live up in Graham and would be happy to take you fishing. I usually pull the baot down to the Cowlitz and the drive is much shorter with someone to talk to. I have a 20 ft. sled and mostly pull plugs but if you prefer to fish other ways I'm game. By the way fellas, I'm convinced that his handle is G-O-P not gop. HAHAHAHAHAHA

You know, this post bugs the heck out of me. If I were closer to Puyallup I'd invite you to fish. Being that you're 15, I'll assume you can't drive to get up towards the Sky or Skagit. What bothers me is where are you're parents in this endeavor?? If I had a 15 year old son I'd sure as hell want to know where and whom he was fishing with. Or are you some FBI jerkoff looking for a child molester? If you are, please look on some other board. If you are genuinely interested in fishing, and you're parents are willing to meet and discuss, then email me for a phone # and I'll discuss it with them. If you are for real, Please, Please be careful, you are opening yourself up for a whole slough of weirdo's by posting a message like this. Sorry for the paranoia, but you can't be too careful these days.

gop....Cracker is right! And isn't it a shame all way around that we have to be so skeptical nowdays......of the one who wants to go fishing and the one who wants to offer.

Times do change, I remember when I was 15 and even earlier we routinely would hitch hike out to the Lyre and even the Pysht we would walk to the Elwha and Morse Creek, with our thumbs out just in case. People would even pull over and give you a ride if you were packing a 12 bore. The best deal was to hitch a ride with the Catholic Priest who would do the 6 AM mass and then head out to either Cllalam Bay or Forks but then you would have to hitch back home and some people wouldn't stop to pickup anybody carrying a fish, so real early on I got in the habit of releaseing my catch!
I did meet older fellows who were fishermen and after a while of sharing my hard won secrets most of these fellows would start calling me up for info and invariably offer me a ride to where ever I thought would be the hot spot. It is a twisted world that a kid cant do things like this in sad very sad.
