Well group, I have been watching this BB for a while and I have noticed that there is a certain amount of complaining about State and Fed regulation of the fisheries, both sport and native. Don't get me wrong, a good deal of it is justified.
I also believe that Native Americans also have rights, after all, they were here first. These rights do not however, transend sanity.

Here are my questions. Are there any active lobbiests working in the intrest of the fishers and how supportive are the industries we buy our supplies from? What groups should we support and how. Or should we just ***** about things. Lastly, why does the Nesqually never clear up. Who is resposible for that?

Thanx to all who respond

You might take a look at the Wild Steelhead Group (now Wild Steelhead Coalition) location on this website. One of the group's aims is to become a single, unified voice representing the sport fishing community. The Nisqually runs dirty most of the year, mostly because of its glacial origin.
