If you guys (and Fishgals) want to see something funny, check out the "Readers Forum" section of NWFishing.com and look at the ongoing discussion regarding catch and release. What a joke!

I don't recommend visiting that site too often. Not a very friendly crowd that hangs out there. I guess I've had too many bad experiences to go back.

Regrettably, that site really typifies the Internet (this BB excluded, of course): There's useful, sometimes even valuable information to be found there, but to access it you have to sift through endless threads of meaningless blather, offensive barbs and amazingly unfunny attempts at sophomoric humor. In just the past couple weeks I've seen posts from three individuals who said they were so disgusted they would not access that site again. User registration like what we have here scares off a lot of the kooks, if for no other reason that they can't participate anonymously.

I agree, waste of time. The old school Wildcatters on there crack me up. It's like talking to a rock, which I've been known to do on occasion.

A largely inefficient use of time, to say the least. Again, I think there are some useful bits of information there -- you just don't find them under headings like "Catch N Release Sucks" and "Hatchery Fish Are Gay."

It's wild, untill I saw that sight i never realized there were people so intensly against CNR. These guys CANNOT accept CNR, facts have little bearing on thier opinions. C

Those guys don't seem to like this site much just like we don't seem to like that site. Check ou the thread that ironfisherman started. All he said was join this board and they go crazy.
