i went fishing today during high tide at deception pass st. park and didn't catch anything. i used a buzz bomb and a herring a nd bobber. does wd-40 really cover up your scent on fishing lures. has anyone else had any luck fishing area 6?

Hey gonefishin, as most of the people on this bb know, wd40 is an oil base lubricate and by putting on your terminal gear actually constintues the same as if you poured your waste oil from the crank case into the water, only variance is the amount.
If a memeber of the fish cops see you spraying wd40 on your gear that is in contact with the water you can be in for a suprise.
Recommendation, spray on your hands, reel and seat, but do not spray on terminal gear.
