Time to check in! Who will be fishing for a chance at the prize money, boats and pickup truck?? Check out Everett Coho Derby www.everettcohoderby.com for ticket locations and rules and regs. There is also a new feature of the web site this year that will keep a real time leader board.

Thanks for your support of the Derby and best of success to all.

hopefully fresh fish will roll in. Gillnetters have been out in force past two days. Thanks guys, I know you have to make a living, but give us sportees one last derby chance. Out in front of Anthonys (everett marina) selling coho past 2 days. Cheers

Yeah, the 1000+ boat sport fleet catching their limits for 3 straight weeks has no impact on the run, but the couple of gillnets scooped up all the fish in 2 days!

Hope its a fun and successful derby for everyone...should set a record for number of fish weighed in.

I was just happy to get in on what is probably the best Coho fishing on PS that I can remember. Just got back this afternoon and just now finished vac packing a ton of fish and eggs. Yesterday was my last day and after several stellar days got skunked (one lost at the boat). Pretty foggy yesterday so I didn't venture out to some spots I would have hit normally.

Pretty happy filling my freezer after missing out on Buoy 10 and several other trips because of family issues.

Saw tribal boats going out on Wednesday. Yesterday I was told to watch out for nets, but didn't see any.

Good luck to all fishing the derby.

Isn't there about 3/4 million coho this year coming back to P.S.? I think a great saltwater fishing season for tens of thousands of people enjoying their waters and catching limits for the bbq (not wholesale distributors), pretty fair distribution of the resource if you ask me.

I don't know because I never saw a net in the Edmonds area where I was fishing. Someone just said to watch out for nets. I think the tribes do most of their work at night.

Looked at the leader board and 121 weighed in today. Sounds like it was slow given the amount entrants. Isn't there supposed to be around 3k?

Wish I could have stayed and fished it.

I think the weather change has put them off the bite the last couple of days.
