While their site’s folks are looking to come here ...

Too bad both sites are losing participation, and eventually sponsors.

Now how to get back outta here again -

Anyone buy a new boat yet ?

I’ve made some nice upgrades to mine. New interior lighting, marine stereo, and possibly adding a livescope fish finder here soon. Looking forward to this fishing season.

Fishing boards are a thing of the past unfortunately. The Facebook groups and instagram are where everyone posts. I don’t have social media despite being a millennial, but I was a part of the fishing boards since a very young age, so that’s why I am still around.

This site has also not been too friendly to newbs asking newbie questions which doesn’t help. Gaymefishin was newb friendly but they ultimately died off as well, so maybe it didn’t impact things that much.

At least this one is still kicking a bit. I’d love to see the regulars post reports more often, but either nobody is fishing or nobody is choosing to share, but I don’t entirely blame them for either.

Well, no New boat for us this year, as the one we now play with is still always new . We did take the plunge into new fishing gear for the old gurl, with all new matching rods (only five however ) new reels, and a new line option for all things Kokanee, Cutthroat, and hopefully a bit more Sockeye.

Just finished cleaning it all up, running all three motors, canvas up and treated, and maybe after a today’s shed Hunting we’ll finish with a local trip here for some big Cutts.

The time to play has begun...
