We tanked Venezuela for a couple of reasons but it all leads back to one reason. They wanted to stop using the dollar, selling oil in dollars. Huge threat to our own oil industry if it is uncontrolled/unchecked, they have enough oil to be able to flood the market any time they liked and tank the price, huge threat to US National security.

That is why Venezuela is in the trouble that it is, has nothing to do with anything accept the dollar.

Anyways Russia has forward long range nuke bomber bases in Venezuela, I don't think we will be putting troops on the ground there, its a CIA opp.
