I dunno...I had a '78 F-150 that had almost 900K miles on it when I donated it to a farm in Puyallup, and the farmer used it for several more years after that.

Other than getting 9mpg, and not being a king cab, that truck was the schit. My old man bought it new in '77, and it ended up being mine ten years later, and I had it for 15 more years after that.

Never rebuilt, very little issues...though it did like to go thru u-joints at a fairly rapid clip, always had a couple in the glove box just in case
