Islander. Been there, done that, sold it. Bad. Dumbest and one of the most expensive reels I've purchased. It sucks for mooching and is completely pointless for trolling. Not to mention they are fragile as fvck and not as bullet proof as they should be for the price.

IMO, I'd recommend a good, high speed salt water level wind with a line counter. The gang up in SE Alaska can't be all that wrong, seeing how they mooch all summer.

Let the center pinners and the Canadians stick with the Islanders since they already have a few loose screws.
