Where does somebody go to get foam backer rod? I would like to get some black, 1 in dia, for making some floats and some smaller white about 1/2 in for making some aeroflys/aeropuffs. I tried an aeropuff (for the first time) with a sand shrimp tail and hooked into a nate before he spit the hook. My buddy's fishing buddy caught and relesed a nice nate buck using eggs and a black homemade float with the tip painted orange. Looks like the way to float bait or jigs.
