I own 5 or 6 pair of waders and seem to go through them fairly fast. My Flytech's were great but the feet started leaking after a couple hard weeks. In general, I like bootfoots if it is really cold, especially if I am in a boat. I like neoprenes if I am in cold water because they have insulation value and provide about 40% the floatation of a PFD. There are some truly great deals out there right now on some neoprenes. The goretex waders are my choice for warm weather. If the waders have a good guarantee, I buy from a local shop so I can get instant exchanges. Bean and Orvis are great in this regard. Hope this helps.
