I'd agree to a degree ... I'm proud that I've played a big role in giving anglers across the state a chance to band together to work towards the future health of our fisheries, it's certainly not something I could do on my own.

A lot of thanks needs to go to all those involved with the WSC and to those who have sent letters and emails and placed phone calls regarding the state's fisheries.

While I'm perhaps at the forefront of this, I'll be a target, but a bullseye I'll be happy to wear to protect the fish and our future opportunites.

I guess what these folks have the most trouble understanding is that C&R and similar restrictive regulations will one day be in place ... it's pretty much inevitable given all the perils the state's fisheries face.

But, folks like myself would just like to see it occur before we see major collapses ... let's stop the greed and put the fish first!
