Checking airfares over at www.travelocity.com and saw that from now through June 14, you can fly round trip from SeaTac to Anchorage for $176.90 ... about half of what it's been running.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this extended as the summer goes on.

If anyone's been thinking about coming up and fishing the Kenai Peninsula, these airfares just sweeten the pot a little for some great last minute deals that we have on our remaining slots ... of which there are still some decent ones available for the end of May and early June ... a great time for Kasilof kings as well as saltwater fishing for both kings and halibut.

July dates are pretty much wiped out save for a stray open seat or two here and there, but we've still got some August silver seats open for a neat fishery in which we backbounce silvers on flyrods in a couple of feet of water ... too fun!

Glad to see the rates have dropped, hope they stay that way for everyone's sake!
