I have several Symetre 4000's and they are a great reel. I like the 4000 series because I can spool up with heavier line for Salmon fishing in the fall. In the summer I spool up 100 yards or so of 6# test over the heavy old line and fish for summer Steelhead. There is no need to fill the spool with 220 yards of line when you only use the last 100 yards. This saves on the pocket book. You can't go wrong with either choice.
