Although, I can be quite serious when a "couple hours" turns into a whole day on the river. Do ALL of you do that too? How about this one: "Hey honey, sorry I am so late, I wasn't driving. I tried to tell him I needed to be home, but he wanted to catch his limit." or "Hi babe, sorry so late, it was the best day fishing I have EVER had, I was just railing them. You couldn't expect me to leave?" How about this one, (it is my personal favorite) "I only plan on fishing this run a few times, I am going to wait until the springers are in." (You can replace the word springers with whatever run is next)All sound familiar? They do to me. Gotta love him though, he is just too cute!!!
