Thanks for the info. I need waders primarily for duck hunting, but use them for fishing as well. Trying to get back into the river thing, as it will give me more fishing time and help to fill that January to March gap where nothing much is goin' on.

I rarely wade in the summer, but I can see where no insulation could be a good thing. I was into the float tube method many years back, and still have my Buck's Bag, but the only waders that came up high enough were the neoprenes.

By the way, nice pics and report on your AK trip. That has always been a dream of mine, but I'll have to wait until my wife goes back to work full time. Looking forward to it.
