According the the regulation (#F01-03) filed by the Skokomish Tribe on August 3 (Friday of last week) there was a gill net fishery on the Skokomish River beginning at 9am on Sunday the 5th and running to 4pm this afternoon (the 8th). It was set for Gill nets (5 FMS max length and 5 inch mesh). Hand held gear was also allowed.

The opening was between the Hwys 101 and 106 and off limits within 150 feet above Purdy Creek.On reservation fishing is regulated by Treaty Fishing Ordinance 1.2.9(A)
