Well, from the reports out of the salt,(which are quite informative and please keep them coming), It doesn't look good for the meat fisher OR the sportsman this fall.
SNAGGERS SHOULD DO OK.
But in my little world, 30 miles from salt, and the lummi's releasing fry and smolt in the mouth which are unclipped, I guess , just caus I am saddled between two hatcheries doesn't mean I'm going to catch any clipped salmon this fall. What a bummer, as I used to have 20 fish days and release them all(silvers) and now I won't be able to keep anything, even if I wanted to, but the new lummi casino is starting to break ground for the third try and is going to provide beautiful, living wage jobs for the tribe who cares so much for fish.
Does this seem like a common scenerio?
Lummi leaders are urged to speak, I can't, I've got a mouth full of 1000 island! mad mad mad

P.S. I'm pretty well vursed in the practice of catch and release but, what about the smokey flavor? confused
