I don't think I'd be worrying too much just yet. The large amount of unclipped silvers you have been reading about caught at Sekiu and Neah bay, is due to the fact that these are staging areas for all of the Puget sound, Fraser river, Columbia river, even Oregon and California fish. I'm not sure, but I don't think tribal hatcheries clip, also not sure about Canadian hatcheries as well. The state hatchery on the Nooksack, I believe, does clip all coho, so when it's time for them to be in the river, I think you'll see the majority are clipped, and you'll be able to keep some fish to eat. smile
