GREAT FUN.............
Fishing with Keith and RT........ Proud to say that I held my own for most of the day.... Mid day when the fish lock up, Keith still managed to scrape out a few and pull out ahead. I was also somewhat humbled by a fisherman 20 years younger than myself (doesn't happen often), I rationalized it by the fact that it was his home river and I was fishing behind him most of the time. Fact is Keith is a damm good fisherman, and I mean top one half of the top one percent. Speaking of good fisherman, this was my first time fishing with RT. His skill with a wide variety of lures/baits impressed me as did just having a conversation with him. The man is very knowledgeable. Nice to be back on this river after a 15 year absense.... I uploaded a picture of Keith holding an old spawner. Could not figure out how to get it to show here, can someone help. Its in the Salmon section and is called called Keith. Thanks for a fun day Keith and save a few days to come down and get in my boat this fall in Tillamook tidewater. This will be my 24th year and you can fish behind me. No just kidding, I will give you first cast in every hole. We will catch some big fall pigs, should be quite a few 50+ fish this year, leave the 12 lb at home and go get some 50 lb big game to go with the 80 lb tuff, oh, and bring some 6/0's
