Ya Know, I wanted to come back and revisit my earlier post about Keith's fishing ability... and comment on RT comment that he should not brag on his posts (made verbally when we were fishing on thurs)......I don't want anyboddy to get the wrong idea.... He is not great......He is not super smart...... He is not lucky...... He is not special.... What he is: he is a angler that works very hard ( we spent 12.5 hours on the water) that pays attention to his bait (changes it often... example... I was fishing a bait... i wont tell you what.. middle of the afternoon... granted it did not look perfect, but it was the middle of the afternoon. Keith gave me grief for it, I fished it, at 47 I'm entitled to be a little lazey, I've caught more chinook than Keith ever dreamed of) but his comment, it's not right, I would not fish it..... lesson here is ....... time on water + doing the little things exceptionally right + paying attention to detail + fishing hard and smart+ ability to fish 12 hours (youth has its advantages) = HIGH LINER or for those of you who dont understan the lingo...constintantly hooks or catches 20 - 30 fish every trip............. fact of the matter is...HE paid/pays the price to be good
so before you swear at him or call him a game hog or call him lucky ask yourself this question........Have you worked as hard as he has to catch fish. OPR mabye he is just fishing in the shadow or his fiend James.............and takes passed off roda all the time...........had to leave on a contriversal note ( god I wish I could ssspess as well as I fihs)...............Fishbait
