For Silvers I would definitely stick with hardware or flies. For me, corkies have never been that productive. I usually fish a big spinner, size 4 usually a Flash 'n' Glow in the deeper holes of the Snohomish. However, the entire river is pretty good salmon holding water, so the biggest challenge is just finding the fish. Backtrolling can be effective. Now should be a pretty good time for the Sno, but pretty quick here they'll be movin up into the Skykomish and Snoqualimie. The Sno is also a blast for Pinks and Chums, in September and November.
