I stopped by Cabelas on the way home tonight, and picked up a handful of the old style Wiggle Warts. I don't use plugs very much, and was curious about fine tuning them.

For our applications, I picked up the ones that are a little over an inch long. I got silver with black back, silver with orange back, black with glitter, and silver with chartreuse back. These are the "old style warts". Is there anything that I should know about tuning them?

Was planning on taking off the trebles, leaving the belly treble off, add a split ring to the back ring, and a size 1 or 1/0 siwash. May even do some goofy things with nail polish and prism tape. I have to come up with some freaky invention like RT. LOL

Am I on the right track, or am I the proud recipient of the 2002 Golden Crack Pipe Award? They have a few of the bigger warts left too. Should I be looking at some of those, and if so, any color ideas?

Thanks. Be tender with me, I am a Plug Virgin.
