Let's see....the thought is then, that as soon as someone writes about a river, say something kinda' out of the way and not fished very much, then suddenly every yahoo that can read, grabs all their gear, jumps in the truck and all at the same moment in time head,in-mass, to said river?.

Has anyone ever actually seen that happen? I mean I've read about a lot of really great sounding rivers, ones that I would love to fish, but the problem is I have a life. I can't just go running off to every sweet little river I ever read or hear about at the drop of a hat! I would bet that most of you reading this don't either, sheesh!

Even if I do finally get to that "special" river where the fish are huge and easy to catch, I sure as heck ain't going to be there every day.

I read an article once about just such a spot, after dreaming about it for a couple of years I finally got there, know what?, I could have done better on a river I knew something about close to home.

Get... a. real.. b. a clue.. c. out!

Let's take a head count how many of you guys that have read an article in a magazine, have then gone right out and fished said river? There is a reason that not many people fish these out of the way, harder to get to places, wonder what that might be?

Just knowing that they are there, and dreaming about being there is really what keeps me wanting to read these magazine articles, don't go taking away my hopes and dreams just because you got some paranoid idea that some outdoor writer will turn every river into another "Blue Creek"! Oh yeah, I've read about that place too, understand they catch a lot of fish, never been there though!
