I've got a worm story for you guys. I posted this about a year and a 1/2 ago when it happened, but it seems appropriate to talk about it on this topic. I caught a King off of Dolphin point in the Salt and brought it home. I gutted it and opened up the stomach. My roommate came out to look at the fish and noticed a bunch of small yellow tape worms crawling around. There was not any worms in the meat of the fish, so we figured it was fine. About a month later I'm upstairs sleeping and I get woken up by my roomate screaming at someone franticaly on the phone. I run downstairs and ask him what's going on. He replies.."Dude, I woke up this morning to take a dump..I did that, then I wiped..but I still had a little dingleberry hanging on. So I try and wipe it off and I realize that it feels different. I grab on to this piece of something hanging out my ass and start pulling it out.." (Picture somebody in a bent position raising his hand up from his backside while he's telling me this story) " I keep pulling and all of a sudden I've got 4 feet of tape worm coming out my ass! Then it breaks off and the rest of it goes back inside!!" I am NOT JOKING. He went to the hospital with part of the worm in a ziploc bag, made case of the day, and got some medicine to kill the rest of it. The doctor said it could have been 10-15ft long. I of course was scared to death for the next month every time I took a crap for fear of the same, but nothing ever happened to me. So..if I ever catch a fish that has worms anywhere, I will not eat it.
