Let me throw my .02 cents in....

In addition to tying the knot back further, another trick I was taught years ago was to bring a small rubber band (dental type use for braces) over the front of the plug securing the line even further back- over the eyes of the plug. You want to see some action on a plug? Give this a go! At one time, I used bead chain however, I found it caused too much slippage and the plug ran uneven.

Another trick I picked-up was... drill a extremely small hole on the underside of the plug towards the rear. Fill a syringe full of sauce and fill the plug. What a scent trail! Refill every hour or so... (if needed)
