Most of the really monster takes I've had were on plugs, a pure aggression strike. Other than those, the down-stream fish (spawners) seem to take almost anything with a vengance. Had one take me down so hard while side-drifting on the Queets it darn near took the spinning rod out of my hand!!......c/22 laugh
