Best of luck to you up there. I've got an idea for you to consider, check your schedule and try to line up a guide in one of the areas you'll be in. No better way to get the "Lay of the Land" so to speak. you said you have a respectable chunk of change that would be an excellent way to spend some of it. Once you know your way around you can show the other guys how it's done.
