Shiny is the important thing.I would have to say that you have gotten used to the feel of the spinner vs the spoon so you are fishing it more eficiantly.Why worry about it.It is not the lure that will catch the fish it is the fisherperson and it sounds like you have it figured out.I do not think you need advice just a pat on the back.
