Fished the Kalama on Sunday and got skunked! Saw 2 fish caught. 1 bright steelie and 1 so dark that the fish checker couldn't get the guy to take it out of the bag so she could see it! I guess he was afraid the meat would fall off and he'd have nothing left to put in the smoker. The fish checker said that it's been really slow and that she's not looking forward to the extra traffic that the Columbia closure will put on the Kalama and her job.(Must say that the fish checkers are getting better looking) Anyway, it was a beutiful day to spend on the river
