You will never know how lucky you are to live in North America until you've been to other 3rd world countries.
I've spent 4 yrs in the Marine Corps and have been to 9 other countries. Somalia, North Korea, Egypt, ect.
"Our worst day here is 10 times better than their best day there!"
Only now, do I relize how important our missions were in the military, and what we were trying to accomplish.
As 19 year olds, we never saw the bigger picture of Freedom, or how important it is to us and other countries who desire it.
