I fished the Sandy River (Oregon) near Dodge Park last Thursday and it was fine. However, I went again on Sunday morning and the entire river was the color of chocolate milk. It looked like the Mississippi on a bad day. I didn't even try to fish. The river was slightly higher but not much and we didn't get much rain, if any.

About 2 years ago, a major slide up near Mt. Hood turned the Sandy very turbid after a heavy rain in October. But whatever happened late last week turned it turbid very quickly and with no rain. Anyone heard why?
