The N.Jetty in Ilwaco is open anytime area 1 is open or the Buoy 10 fishery is open (consult regs-eastside rivers/columbia river). I thought I read something about the ocean just now closing for chinook, but the Buoy 10 fishery remains open meaning the N.Jetty will be open for both chinook & coho (wild release).

The N.Jetty fishery starts typically heating up about now. Concentrate on fishing an hour before and after the low and high slack tides. Wear felt soled shoes on low tide otherwise you could break your neck on those slime covered rocks!
