DIVER

Yes there are differnt possesion limits for different rivers or areas. Be careful what other fisherman tell you. Remember when the Game Wardens checks you it will be YOU who they will be ticketing. READ THE REGS

A. Example: Last year they upped the limit of silvers on the Cowlitz to 6. If I catch and keep 6, I am done for the day. I cannot run to the Kalama and keep another 6. That would show I have 12 salmon for that day. Thats ILLEGAL

B.However: Lets say the limit of Chums are 4 at Hoodsport and 2 at Johns Creek. I can go to Johns Creek and keep 2 and then go to Hoodsport where the limit is 4 and catch another 2. As long as my punh card shows 2 for Johns Creek and 2 for Hoodsport, in that order. I can not have more than 4 for the day if I fish both areas in one day.

Tickets are expensive, embarrassing and costly expeccialy if they decide to take your gear. I hear alot of differnt interpretaions of fishing regs. Sometimes I believe fisherman are trying to justify taking more fish than they are allowed. My rule if: If your NOT sure dont do it. Good luck
