That's not a bad call, except that I looked for an Air IM/7 rod too for fishing floats and couldn't find one over 8'6" that could handle more than a light (not sure, but I'm thinking 3-10lb or something) line.

I think the comment about 2 rods is right on. That's tough duty, handling kings well and not being too much for steelies, especially in the summer.

I'm surprised the Allstar guys haven't jumped all over this. They gotta have something to say, along with TH. They're the guys that best know what's available. Maybe their just waiting for the crackers to shut up. Or they're fishin'.
