I got very tired of losing my #5 Viibraxs, so I experimented with something new one day...

I bought some 4/0 Bass, Weedless hooks, the ones with the wire guard wrapped around the shank and loops down onto the point of the hook. Kind of spring loaded.
Attach it to the spinner with a split ring... BAMM!!!
I found my solution! laugh
I fished the South Fork Nutsack for silvers all day. I boated more fish than my partner and only lost "ONE" Vibrax that day! eek
Then I attached 2 weedless hooks, back to back, with small piece of heat shrink tubing and attached them with a split ring... DOUBLE BAMM!!!
I was driving the hooks all the way thu the nose of most fish, it works awesome laugh
I could feel the lure going over stumps and snaggs and only lost the one in a root ball. mad

Check your regs on- barbless, point to shank depth (hook size) and whether you can use one or more hooks?
This set up is alittle time consuming at first, but you will save $BIG BUCKS$ on lures.

Sorry I don't have my new scanner set up yet, I could of post a picture. It's pretty simple though.

Go ahead, you can call it the "G-MAN BRAX" laugh laugh
