I assume Gman was giving this tip since there are alot of rivers starting to come thick with salmon and give the potential gear fisherman a chance to order up what he needs to try this setup. If you reread what he said above, sounds more like a past experience then a "Guess what I did last week" post.

Good tip Gman. I've done something similar. But where do you find them premade? I've been attaching mono with super glue and making them old fashioned. But only for a few rivers where I have tons of brush to fight through. Would love to find them premade. I assume bass mags would be the place to go.
