Here's the rub. The democrats have a much better record in environmental issues, and without a good environment there will be no fishing and hunting. The republicans have a better record of supporting gun owners and hunters, but they are also much more in the pocket of logging, mining, and dam builders.

As a fishermen, when in doubt I vote democrat. If you doubt what the republicans can and will do to fish runs go read the thread on Klamath River salmon kill.
