the way i thaw fish is to put the frozen fish in cold water either in a bowl or the sink depending on how much fish i had.i would never use warm water that would make them get mushy and pretty much useless use the extra time it takes to thaw and have a few more drinks with the company it will be worth the wait later,Bruce
