I use a Petzl Tikka headband type. 3 white LED'S + 3 triple AAA batteries= up to 150hrs of use. $33.00 to $35.00 batteries included. Light weight, hands free hiking, climbing, knot tying and untangling in the dark with none of that silly drooling from holding a mini-mag in your mouth. How many times have you reached for a light....only to find the batteries are dead. If you haven't been there yet you will be unless you have one of these LED units. They're worth the cost.
