I might be way off base but I think that there are trade offs. I fish loomis as well as lami's. An 6-10 lbs lami is a bit more sensitive than my 15-30 custom loomis. I would think that to make an accurate assessment you would need to have identical rods from different manufactures. Same weight line rating, same length, and same action. Then you could find out which rod is more sensitive. But you would only have the answer for that set of rods. Both Loomis or Lami make great rods, Loomis might have the edge on sensitivity but that comes down to personal opinion. Sorry I couldn't answer your question with a more straight forward answer.
